BURUJ ACADEMY /FC BESCOLAR SETTLE ON APRIL 28 FOR FRIENDLY CLASH
The high profile clash between Buruj Sports Academy and FCBEscola has been shifted from the earlier announced date to Friday April 28, 2017 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
This change in date came about after a telephone conversation between Buruj CEO Dr Salaudeen Waheed who’s currently in the United Kingdom and FCBEscola director Leslie Oghomienor late on Monday afternoon.
The team coach Taiwo Oloyede was also physically present at FCBEscola’s office to finetune the details of the agreement between both teams.
The much anticipated matchup between two of the most exciting football Academies in Lagos will now kick-off at 10am according to a release by management of Buruj Sports Academy.
Dr Salaudeen had explained that the match which should have taken place before now had been severally postponed for logistics reasons and the fact that both teams have had a very busy period but now the way has been cleared for it to hold.
FCBEscola are Spanish giants FC Barcelona’s first football academy in Africa and is modelled after the famous La Masia Academy in Spain where club legends like Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez amongst others were tutored.
Lagos-based Buruj Academy are also one of the best-run football Academies in Nigeria having been founded almost 10years ago. They have a record of helping young players actualise their dreams of playing professional football in Europe and have several former youth players already making waves abroad.
