– Five More Players To Be Considered For The Trip To The Queensland.
After closer and critical assessment of all the players at their disposal following another 1-0 slim loss to Team Shomolu in the preliminary stage of the ongoing Hon. Bayo Osinowo Gold Cup Competition holding at Anthony Village Community Sports Centre yesterday, the management and technical crew of Buruj Sports Academy have released the first batch of players that will make the squad to the United Kingdom to feature in this year’s edition of Manchester Cup.
About five more players are still being expected to beef up the team and the management and technical officials of the Ikorodu-based academy are willing to consider newly registered players who can prove their mettle to make the final cut by the end of this month before the final list will be sent to the organisers in the first week of February.
The 11 players who have already make the list include Adeyera Tolulope Benjamin, Akuba Ignatius Omacholonu, Nwaribeaku Dozie Stanley, Salaudeen Noah Abolaji, Amuji Chidera Daniel, Ahaiwe Ikechukwu, Alabi Roqeeb Adisa, Ayonuwe Emmanuel Lucky, Onwe Okechukwu Emmanuel and Nnandi Tochukwu.
The Manchester Cup will be played in Manchester, England between March and April and top scouts from English clubs and other parts of the globe will be on ground to shop for future stars.
