The Managing Director of Buruj Sports Academy Dr. Salaudeen Waheed has congratulated the newly appointed Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Kweku Adedayo Tandoh,  The highly experienced Tandoh was appointed by Lagos State Governor Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
Dr. Salaudeen is of the opinion that this appointment will bring fresh ideas to the development of grassroots football and assist the Governor in achieving lofty heights in sports development.
He also expressed his readiness as a stakeholder in grassroots football development to help in charting a new course by designing a mechanism that will help thousands of youth roaming the streets to embrace sports for socio economic development of the state.
Meanwhile, the organisers of Manchester Cup to be attended by Buruj Sports Academy, Team Tours Direct has confirmed the registration and participation of the Ikorodu-based outfit,  as they expressed  their hope that as the defending champions of the English International Super Cup, the Nigerian representatives are poised to repeat the same feat.
