Buruj Sports to test might against TREM Academy on Saturday

The Legacy pitch of the National Stadium Surulere has been selected as venue to host a friendly match between Buruj Sports Academy and TREM Football Academy of Anthony on SaturdayMarch 18, 201`7 at 4pm.

The game is in continuation of Buruj Academy’s buildup to their proposed foreign trip as well as to prepare for the 2017 Federation Cup which the team has already registered for.

Revealing this was CEO of Buruj Academy Dr Salaudeen Waheed who said the game will afford the coaches the opportunity to measure how much the players have picked from their training sessions.
He said: “Playing against a quality side like TREM Academy will be a true test of the ability of our players. The coaches will also be able to see how much they’ve imparted into the players and how the players will react under certain match conditions. So I can say this is one match we look forward to because of the challenges ahead.”
Speaking in the same vein, Team Manager of TREM, Ademola Fetuga is optimistic of a good game when both sides meet given the pedigree and quality of players to be on parade.

“I’ve seen Buruj Academy play and I know the quality of our own team so I know it will be a cracking game on Saturday. It is a friendly game but I’m sure the game will have the quality of a cup final. Games such as this are needed to help teams grow and it will benefit both sides,” the former youth international said.
A lot of other teams are also in line to play friendly games with Buruj Academy before the team’s departure for United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom for the Super Cup.
