Buruj Sports Academy will on Tuesday 21st February, 2017 engage Hyraj Football Club in a friendly exhibition game at the Ijora Olopa field by 9am.

The friendly is in continuation of the team’s preparation for their forthcoming foreign tour of the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom in April.

Buruj Sports Academy will use the opportunity of the friendly to shake off the memory of the 4-1 loss to Young Strikers last week and to show how much they have learnt from the heavy defeat.

CEO of Buruj Sports Academy, Dr Salaudeen Waheed said the game will also afford the coaching crew to further assess the physical fitness levels of the players as it was observed as one of the reasons for their loss in the last game.

“We are looking forward, not backwards. We know the players are better than the last result suggested so we won’t dwell on it. We will just correct our mistakes and move on,” he said.

“We have registered for the Federation Cup and we intend to give it our best effort this year. We just want our fans to come out and cheer us to victory.”

Buruj Sport Academy will depart for the Dubai Super Cup as well as the Mancesther Cup in April
