Buruj Sports Academy will this morning take in Rivers FC in a friendly game to ascertain the match readiness of their players as they are set to storm Dubai, the United Arab Emirates for this year”s edition of TTD Super Cup.
The venue of the match is LOCO Playing Ground, Yaba, Lagos, and kick-off time has been fixed for 11.am.
Speaking on the rationale behind the warm-up game that will herald the final phase of their preparations, the CEO of the Academy, Salaudeen Waheed, disclosed that, it will be used to put the players in top shape physically, mentally and tactically so they could be able to hold their own by the time that they will come up against tough opposition in the land of the Emirates.
He also said that all the travel, technical and logistic arrangements have been sorted out with organisers Team Tours Direct and assisted by their partners here in the country, Tour Brokers International to make the trip a hitch-free one.
The team will depart the shore of the country on April 2nd while the tournament will commence on April 3rd.
