Dullar Charges Buruj Sports Academy To Beat 36 Lions
A Nigerian-born Canada-based sports lover, Salawu Hamed, has promised to reward the players of Buruj Sports Academy if they defeat 36 Lions FC in a friendly on Friday.
Buruj face the Lagos Metro League side at the Agege Stadium from 8am in preparation for the Ikorodu-based academy’s trip to the United Kingdom for camping and trial matches.
Hamed, popularly known as Dullar, is one of Buruj Sports Academy’s majot sponsors and a Shomolu Local Government Council Chairmanship aspirant.
“Buruj is a very well run sports academy and it’s good to encourage the boys now and then, that’s why I have decided to reward them if they beat 36 Lions on Friday,” Dullar said.
Buruj, according to the academy’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Salawudeen Waheed, will soon be off to the UK to camp, play friendly matches with the academies of Premier League clubs and organise trials for their players.
Buruj and 36 Lions played a 1-1 draw when they met in a friendly earlier this year.
