MTN Nigeria Congratulates Triumphant Buruj Sports Academy On Its Success In England.
While praising the management of the academy led by the academy’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Salaudeen Waheed, the multinational mobile telecom operator, expressed willingness to support the academy to give hope to Nigeria’s upcoming footbal players, a platform to play professional football within and outside the country.
Salaudeen, in a letter addressed to the Brand/Marketing Manager, MTN Nigeria on Thursday, 17th of August, has requested audience to present the victorious team that participated at the International Super Cup in the United Kingdom to the company.
The letter read in part “we immensely recognize and overwhelmed by your keen interest in developing the youths for a better future most especially on sports. “We deem it fit that it would be of a great privilege to have this trophy presented to your great organization as a show of appreciation for your positive strides in sports and youth development across the country”
The academy shall be celebrating its 10th Years existence in the year 2018. In lieu of this, we intend to celebrate this anniversary home and abroad (United Kingdom). The academy will use the yearly English International Super Cup Tournament programme to celebrate its existence with fans and sports lovers to be entertained by the fuji icon, paramount King of Fuji Music, Abass Akande Obesere.
As the leading academy, seeks partnership deal with the Africa’s leading telephony company, the management of Buruj Sports Academy assured the company of its relationship with the media to get them adequate mileage.
The academy recently conferred on his Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II the Life Patron and Rev. Mrs. Esther Ajayi General Overseer Love of Christ Generation Church, United Kingdom as the Life Matron.
The academy did not only win the youth tournament but also had three of the players scouted in the competition admitted by English National league side, Boreham Wood Football Club to continue their development in football and education.
