Speaking after the game, the head coach of Buruj Sports Academy, Taiwo Oloyede, expressed deep satisfaction over what he saw of his boys and vowed to correct all the noticeable lapses before the team’s departure to the United Kingdom on August 1st.
“It was a good game taking into account the quality of the match we played and the standard of opposition we came up against.”
“We are gradually overcoming the problem of goal-scoring we had before because in our last game before this, we scored 5 goals and conceded one while today and against a tougher opposition like Synergy, we scored two good goals, we could have won it outrightly but we lost due to inexperience on the part of that. Like I said, we will take care of our errors and we will be ready for the Super Cup,” he boasted.
